THOUGHTS ON CITY HALL

I was asked the following question

"What do you plan on changing at the City Hall?"

A good question for sure!

My Answer:

There is a lot of room for improvement at City Hall. I would hope that after a new City Council is elected, there would be consensus to sit down with the CAO, as a group of 9, including the Mayor, to discuss any deficiencies, set goals for improvement, and establish timelines to reach those goals. Perhaps even an ongoing monitoring and feedback system would allow for continuous improvement.

Please understand that on my own, I could NOT be effective in changing City Hall; hence, please vote strategically!

The one thing I would not suggest doing is to walk in and fire the person in charge = a really expensive move, plus knee-jerk reactions seldom work!
